Dr. Devanand Hulmani is a fellowship-trained Orthopaedic Surgeon with expertise in joint replacement surgery, sports medicine, arthroscopy, trauma, and complex reconstructive procedures. He completed his undergraduate medical education at Karnataka Institute of Medical Sciences (KIMS), Hubballi, followed by his M.S. in Orthopaedics from the prestigious All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi. He subsequently served as Senior Resident in the Department of Orthopaedics at AIIMS, gaining extensive experience in managing complex trauma, joint disorders, spinal conditions, pediatric orthopaedics, bone tumors, and sports injuries.
To further advance his expertise, Dr. Hulmani completed international fellowships in Robotic Hip & Knee Replacement and Hip Arthroscopy from South Korea, and in Arthroplasty & Arthroscopy from Austria. During these fellowships, he trained in robotic-assisted knee and hip replacement using advanced robotic platforms, revision joint replacement surgery, shoulder, hip, knee, and ankle arthroscopy, sports injury reconstruction, and complex revision procedures under internationally renowned surgeons.
Dr. Hulmani has also worked as an Attending Consultant at Sakra World Hospital, Bengaluru, where he managed a broad spectrum of orthopaedic disorders ranging from fractures and ligament injuries to complex pelvic trauma, revision joint replacements, and minimally invasive arthroscopic procedures. His surgical expertise includes robotic-assisted knee replacement, hip replacement, revision arthroplasty, ACL reconstruction, meniscal repair, shoulder arthroscopy, corrective osteotomies, tendon repairs, and management of complex trauma.
He has authored publications in internationally indexed journals, actively participates in clinical research, and is a member of several prestigious national and international orthopaedic societies.
